Thin Ply Technology (TPT) is an innovative combination of creating very thin, plottable, unidirectional tapes with the help of a proprietary tow-spreading and impregnation technique and a method of transforming two-dimensionally plotted preforms (“fiber complexes”) to three-dimensional shapes in an integrated, software-assisted process. The resulting fiber structures offer significantly improved material qualities.
