Return from space is a hard problem to solve: For reusable rockets, enabling affordable access to space, or future markets like space manufacturing logistics. Klaus Space Transportation GmbH is an early-stage startup in the ESA BIC Baden-Württemberg. It develops Airbreathing Inflatable Atmospheric Decelerator technology to solve this problem and return cargo from space at any scale.
The vision of the company is sustainable space access: A future where everything that is launched to space can also be returned to Earth safely. The company conducted a feasibility study, supported by ESA BIC, Airbus Defence & Space and the Institute for Space Systems (IRS) Stuttgart. This included successful prototype drop tests and material development. Now, the company is looking for seed funding to build its first products for European customers.
We are looking for 2 Million € total seed funding. At the ESA Investor Forum we are looking for Co-Investors to provide approximately one third of that sum.
