TerraLoupe wins phase two of 2015 Munich business plan competition, joins delegation trip to Israel with Bavarian state secretary of economics


Among the more than 390 teams that participated in the Bavarian business plan competition BayStartUP in 2015, the big data startup TerraLoupe came out on top in phase two of the Munich regional competition! Other startups with business ideas related to the IoT, biotechnology, and medical technology were also recognized.

Meanwhile, TerraLoupe was also invited to take part in a delegation of experts scheduled to join Bavarian econom-ics minister Franz Josef Pschierer on a trip to Israel. The focus of the delegation was on expanding Bavaria's coop-eration with Israel in the field of IT security, as well as on presenting Bavaria as a platform for Israeli companies looking to gain further footholds in the European market.

TerraLoupe has been undergoing incubation at ESA BIC Bavaria since 1 June 2015. The company offers virtual-reality imagery solutions based on geo-specific 3D infor-mation bundled with object recognition analytics and re-ports based on machine-learning algorithms.
